Funders of the project Every year it gets harder and harder to find funders willing to support successful projects. There is sometimes the misconception that if something is successful, it doesn't need more help. There is also a misconception that if something is really needed in the community, that when funds run out, statutory bodies will step in and save them. This could not be further from the truth.
The past few years has been extremely hard for our community, and some organisations have not survived. However, projects that are still here are staffed and supported by people and partner / funder organisations who are committed to their success. Large or small, our funders are vitally important to us It is because of their continuing commitment that Pennywell Neighbourhood Centre is still operating.
We would therefore like to give a very big THANKYOU to all of our funders and sponsors, big and small, past, present and future, as well as partnership organisations for all of your support.
Projects like Pennywell Neighbourhood Centre really do make a difference to communities, and we would not be able to operate without you. This page lists our funders past and present. It is not complete, and we are in the process of gathering logos and contact details of all of our funders, so if your organisation does not appear, keep watching. If you have a website link or logo which you would like us to use, please contact Maggie Perry at the project.
